Most social media apps will only let you post plain text in the same font as everyone else, but it’s possible to post different styles of text using special Unicode characters.
We’ve made a tool that lets you create bold text, italic, handwritten script, blackletter and more.

This new tool is a website – you don’t need to download any apps, but you can pin it to your home screen on iOS and Android if you want easy access.
We’ve tested in the latest versions of iOS, Android and Windows and the tool works perfectly on all of them.
Post anywhere
Most popular platforms will display the text you copy from the tool. The screenshot above shows funky text working on Facebook, Mastodon, BlueSky and Tumblr.
This tool is really just for fun – you should be aware that the text may not display properly on some devices & platforms, and may not work correctly with screen readers.
Still, you can create some really cool effects for your profile, or even just emphasize important text in your next post. Give it a go!
