How To Make Your Own Zines
Zines are a fun way to share things you love with your community. You can make print-your-own Zines for your players, take them to events or even sell them as merch!
We’ve created several templates for making your own Zines out of A4 paper. Download them in the format you need, and then follow the instructions below to make your Zine!

Once you’ve designed and printed your Zine, hold the paper in landscape orientation and fold it in half horizontally.
Fold the paper in half again, this time vertically.
Fold the piece of paper in half one last time so that it is the size of a single page of your Zine. If the paper is quite thick it can be hard to do this while keeping an even rectangular shape. In that case, unfold back to the previous step and fold horizontally again to make the final fold in your paper.
Unfold the paper back to how it looked at the end of Step 1 – That is, a landscape piece of A4 paper folded in half horizontally.
Cut along the dotted line shown in the image – you should be cutting through the crease in the paper until you reach the middle of the page.
Unfold back to the full page of A4. You should now have firm creases between all 8 pages of your Zine, and a slit cut horizontally in the middle of the paper.
Now fold the full piece of paper in half vertically, so that you have a long row of four pages from your Zine.
Gently grab the pages at the sides and push inwards. The middle pages where you made the slit should bulge outwards in a diamond shape. From here you should fold the pages around to the front to form the “book” shape of the Zine.
Before you press firmly to make hard creases, ensure that you have folded the book in such a way that the front and back cover are in the right places. And your Zine is finished!
