Keylocker Heart Strings Update Out Now On Nintendo Switch

The latest patch of Keylocker | Turn Based Cyberpunk Action has just released on Nintendo Switch, bringing new languages, weapons, romance and jam sessions to the game!
Here at Chequered Ink, we’ve been working hard with Moonana Games and Serenity Forge to port the Keylocker Heart Strings Update to Nintendo Switch, bringing tons of new content and fixes to the game.
A trailer from Moonana, discussing the update which launched in July on Steam:
New-found Romance
In this update, B0B0 can now date more of your favourite NPCs including Patricia, Nahilys, the Knitting Prodigy Jester Girl and Sargon. Meanwhile, Rocket can even form a relationship with IC-BOT!

Jam Sessions
After completing the main story mode of the game at least once, you can now access Jam Sessions from the main menu. This allows you to replay all of the songs from the concert mini games at any time, plus several new songs exclusive to this mode.

Black Hole Mode
You can now enter a black hole in any of Laplace’s Lairs to fight your way through a series of randomized maps. Battle enemies you’ve challenged before as your danger level increases, and you’ll get a chance to collect items you may have missed along your quest.

Other Additions & Fixes
In addition to the above, lots of interesting new features and fixes were added to Keylocker:
- The whole game is now playable in Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Simplified Chinese & Traditional Chinese.
- New weapons were added
- New Quest Maps to guide players during side quests
- New NPCs & Quests
- Full patch notes for the July update on Steam are available here.
For the Nintendo Switch port, we added all the new content from the Moonana team plus we improved performance across all areas of the game, especially in Soundwave City and the Eternal Dome. Battles now run much more smoothly on Nintendo Switch, allowing you to truly flex your muscles on those tricky timed hits!
Check out Keylocker now on the Nintendo eShop and please consider submitting it to GameMaker’s Game of the Year Awards!
